Susan Wondra, MA, LPC

Susan joins Alamo Ranch Counseling and Wellness in the fall of 2020 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specializing in her work with adolescents and adults. Susan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University and graduated with a 4.0 and her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

Susan has been providing clinical therapy for over eight years and has experience as a career counselor, has worked with children and families in the foster care and CPS system, juvenile probation, substance abuse programs, and school-based therapy programs in the Austin area. In addition, she was a Psychology Instructor for four years at a local college in Austin, TX, where she taught General Psychology, Social Psychology, and Human Sexuality courses. 

Her areas of expertise include trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, familial relationships, and difficult life transitions. Susan approaches her work in a culturally sensitive, inclusive, trauma-informed, and collaborative manner and works to develop a safe, caring, and empowering space where clients can find healing and seek solutions that will bring about lasting change. In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing with her pup, Bentley.
